Draft Outline for
Terminology Management for an ISO/IEC 11179 Metadata Registry
This is an outline of a draft of the standard for terminology management. This outline was developed during L8 SIG terminology project meetings. The persons listed will make contributions for the outline. Jim Carpenter will paste the contributions into a template for ISO/IEC JTC 1 standards. Everyone, national or international, is invited to send contributions.
Send contributions to Jim Carpenter, <CarpenterJ@bls.gov>.

A2. Use cases
Use Cases
Use cases are to be developed and sent to Jim Carpenter by January 31, 1999. A template will be provided. Doug Mann is sending input material for template development to Pat Heinig. Pat will prepare a template and send it to the people working on this project. The use cases below are a starter set, with assignments of persons to develop each use case.
This is a list of the use cases for terminology within the context of an ISO/IEC 11179 metadata registry.
Each use case to be written from the viewpoint "I am a user who…." Use cases may include statements that put required "functions" in context.
